Summer Roadtrip 2006

We left for our roadtrip at the start of the summer's worst heat wave. We had originally planned to travel up Hwy 5 and start our trip in Northern California or Southern Oregon.






However, with projected temperatures of 112+ degrees around Redding, we decided it made more sense to leave early in the morning and head out to the coast, and camp the first few days in the coolness of Gualala.
