Progress!

The last couple days I've stayed home enjoying poor health. Each day I took Trigger for a couple of walks around the neighborhood. On today's walks he was pretty nonchalant towards other dogs barking at him. This morning a huge German Shepherd was barking at him through a wire gate and Trigger didn't give him more than a glance as we went by.
This afternoon we met a huge Golden Retriever puppy that was more than twice his size. Trigger was initially wagging his tail and sniffing him. He did start a growl when the puppy was trying to meet me. I told Trigger "Gentle/Easy/Enough" etc. and he sat down and turned his back to the other dog.
I think that's fine since my goal is to have him ignore other dogs and that is what he decided to do.
