Graduation Day!
Today was Trigger's third Puppy Kindergarten graduation.
It was hard to believe that this is the same puppy that started classes a few months ago. Not only is he much BIGGER, but he is much more confident and engaging with other dogs and people.
Trigger continues to particularly enjoy children and small dogs. One of the pictures today shows Trigger doing some soft-jaw wrestling with Murphy, a very tiny and shy little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Murphy was very happy with his new buddy too!
Later this month, Trigger will be 6 months old. At that age he will continue to need socialization sessions, but will be too old for most puppy play groups. I was very happy to discover that there are two local puppy socialization classes led by qualified trainers that are for adolescent dogs.
I've also found a class for Gladys that is for advanced obedience/rally-O type work. She is a learning machine and will immensely enjoy polishing her skills!
*Update:
I remeasured Trigger on April 2nd and found that he is now just under 20" at the withers and holding steady at 38 pounds.
